Elie Barnes is a former international hockey player with a career spanning over a decade with Hockey Wales. Elie participated in the Delhi (2010) and Glasgow (2014) Commonwealth Games, along with a host of World, European and Celtic tournaments, achieving 97 caps for her country. She is now UK Marketing Manager for TAG Heuer having previously worked as Senior Cycling Brand Manager for Sky.

Jane Martinson is a journalist and Head of Media at The Guardian. Previous to this she was Women’s Editor for The Guardian and worked for the Financial Times. Jane was instrumental in launching the Georgina Henry award for female journalists as part of her role as Chairwoman of Women in Journalism, which aims to raise awareness of how the media portrays women; their lives, abilities, careers and their appearance. Jane is a member of The Guardian Edinburgh International Television Festival advisory committee.

Sue Wicks is Strategic Lead for Sport for Change at Comic Relief. She has been involved in grant making for over 15 years and has worked for v – the youth volunteering charity, the Big Lottery Fund and the Charity Commission. She is a member of the Leadership Group for both the UK and International Sport for Development Coalitions and is also on the Advisory Board for Beyond Sport.

Susan Young is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years financial management experience across a diverse range of roles with some of the UK’s largest companies. She is currently Head of Customer Support for RBS, Williams & Glyn and recently completed the Women Transforming Leadership Programme at Oxford University’s Said Business School. Susan is a former member of the Scottish National Ski Team, she has coached at club level and served on numerous club committees.
