The Eagles put the franchise tag on L.J. Smith
L.J. Smith wasn't healthy at all this past season and there were doubts on whether he would be back for the 2008 season. He said so himself that he wasn't sure if we was going to be catching passes from Donovan McNabb next season. Well, then again, we weren't sure if McNabb would be here next year so they both will be, and still are question marks for this upcoming season...

A Giants loss would make this city feel better
Ok, the Cowboys were the #1 seed in the NFC and almost everybody (except for Brett Favre and company) thought that Dallas were on their way to the Super Bowl and seeing the Cowboys play for a championship would've been more painful than the Eagles go 8-8...

Donovan McNabb Should Return Next Year
I felt different about this situation last year, I felt it was time for a change, I wasn't bashing McNabb or anything, just felt it was time for another quarterback to step in and look toward the future (Kevin Kolb).
But just like everyone is entitled to their own opinion...

Eagles play best game of the year
No, they didn't win the games they were supposed to win when they were really "must win" games. When they were supposed to beat New England, Seattle and the Giants, they came up short and no they didn't win the Super Bowl, they beat the Cowboys. In a Word, Frustrating
Another week, another frustrating loss for the Philadelphia Eagles this time against the New York Giants. The 16-13 loss puts the Eagles in a 5-8 hole with little hope of crawling out. That concludes a season sweep for the G-men having beaten the Eagles 16-3 in New York in their first meeting.
Donovan McNabb returned this week going 20-30 for a busty 179 yards, one touchdown and no picks. Read more...
Now, the season is over
I was the one that felt the season wasn't officially over because they were in a weak conference. But they kept losing conference games and division games and even if they get to 8-8, they will lose all the tiebreakers because of those losses.
Maybe it's time to look towards the future, and maybe that means Kevin Kolb. This is the first December game that McNabb has played in since the Eagles played the Rams back in 2004. Read more...
The season isn't over yet, but don't get too ahead of yourself
Ok, the season is not over yet. As much as Eagles fans like to believe that the season is over every time we lose, it's really not over. The Eagles are only one game behind a couple of teams for the last playoff spot in the NFC. So, if they can beat the Giants, they'll be right back in the mix with a 6-7 record.Read more...
