Only if the Birds' offense can keep up with the defense?

It's funny how all Eagles fans thought that the offense was the part of the team that we didn't have to worry about. I won't lie, I was one of them. I felt that the offense was cool becuase we have so many weapons on this offense.
They have Brian Westbrook, who has been playing extremely well in every game he has played this season. Reggie Brown has had only one good game so far, Kevin Curtis has had two great games, and L.J. Smith has been hurt all year so he hasn't been able to live up to his potential.
And Donovan McNabb is clearly not 100% so I don't expect him to have 21 touchdown passes this early in the season. Actually I don't expect any quarterback to have 21 touchdowns going into Week 7. Oh, wait, Tom Brady does, well I DIDN'T expect anyone to be that good.
The offense has had that one big game against the Lions but other than that one game, their offense has been way below average.
Their defense is what has really stepped up so far. And if the offense can get on track and the defense can play the way they've been playing so far, this team can go far. Sheldon Brown and this defense has carried this team so far, even in the three losses, they haven't given up that many points.
The D was such a big question mark coming into the season and now every week, we have to worry how the offense will perform. And the best part is, Brian Dawkins and Lito Sheppard are still injured. So if they can get them back, who knows what kind of defense we can have?
The only thing about that Jets game was their ability to stop the run in the first half. They couldn't stop anything. Thomas Jones had almost 100 yards in the first half alone. But they got it together in the second half, and against Thomas Jones' former team, the Bears, they will have to stop the run in both halves and this should be a good matchup because the Bears are not that good at running the ball.
As long as they don't kick it to Devin Hester, because they let Leon Washington get a big return last week so imagine what Devin Hester can do against this specal teams unit. And everytime I'm watching a Bears game, I criticize the teams that don't kick it to Hester but this week, when he's going against my team, I don't want my team to kick it to the most dangerous player in the league, well, besides Tom Brady.
The bottom line is, the defense for this team has been playing so well and if the offense can get it together, they can surprise alot of fans and critics who said they have no chance to make the Super Bowl.
